I don't dislike wrestling and actually know quite a bit about it through cultural osmosis but I've never actually watched it. The low impact nature of DDP Yoga seems like it's perfect for me but I just have a few questions I hoped you friendly people might help me with.įirstly, I'm not a wrestling fan. Also, the running ended up hurting my knees quite a bit, especially the left which I fell on a few years ago. I've also tried the 30 Day Challenge stuff and gotten through 30 days but ultimately doing the same exercise every day and just increasing the reps was super boring. In the past I've tried running but got kind of bored as there's nowhere near me to run other than along the street. I've recently started sorting out my diet (No soda, just water and no processed food, all fresh) but I'm looking to do some exercise as well. Like DDP says, I'm getting better every day, and if I - a guy who never tried yoga in his life - can do it, anyone can.Hey! So I'm on the bigger side of things (about 264 Pounds) and I'm fairly unfit. I'm absolutely not there yet, but I'm confident that I will be. I know that at this rate, by the holidays I'll look and feel better than I did before, and it's LARGELY in part due to DDP Yoga. I've only perfected Diamond Dozen, energy, and fat burner so far - but I'm excited to try the more challenging videos. I kind of don't want it to end, which I never felt with other workouts. I also have much better posture, and my back feels AMAZING. I feel NO pain, feel EXTREMELY awake after doing a session, and I don't feel that awful "I can't walk" feeling that I did after a rough night of hockey, or after a rough run. Since starting DDP Yoga 6 weeks ago, I've already lost 10 pounds. I mix it with jogging / biking 2-3 times a week, and it's been golden. I picked up DDP Yoga the next day and began to eat healthier (Little choices - salads for lunch, more protein, cutting out most alcohol, counting calories, etc) and I already have great results. It wasn't until 6 weeks ago I weighed myself and was 202 lbs at 5' 7" - I decided I was through with the bullshit. I began running a few times a week during my lunch break but that wasn't doing much, especially since I was still eating and drinking kind of bad. I was beating my body up in all the wrong ways, and didn't even realize it. That July I lost my job, drank a bit more than I should've, ate a lot less healthy than I should have, and was diagnosed with mild fatty liver disease in January.

I put on about 30-40 pounds once the season ended in early july last year, and I kind of lost all work I put in. I took the summer and winter off this year, and kind of got lazy.

Various parts of my body were definitely injured and I didn't do anything about it (Pain for months in certain areas, for example).

I was in great cardiovascular shape, but I felt sore all the time. I also tried insanity on and off, but dreaded it every time (Too long, knew how awful I'd feel while doing it, etc). I took up roller hockey and running 4 years ago, which had taken quite a toll on my body. I'm a 23 year old male, and have been super active for the past few years. If you're contemplating whether or not you want to try DDP Yoga, I have to say - give it a real shot.
